Roto Grip Totally Defiant
« on: August 27, 2013, 09:54:08 AM »
The New Roto Grip Totally Defiant is a great compliment to the HP4 line for Roto.  This ball gives you a lot cleaner look through the front part of the lane then the previous released Defiant Edge.  Without the Micro Bite in the cover, it wont read the lane as early as the defiant, or defiant edge.  You can expect a very smooth motion similar to the new storm release (Byte), but a lil stronger through the midlane.  I layed mine out weak as usual when it comes to asym balls.  65x5x30 (Axis: 3 3/4 over, 7/8 up) was the end result, and I wasn't let down.  It feels great to have a nice predictable asym ball in my bag to compliment the rest of its relatives :)  Thanks Team Utah yet again!

So, between my Disturbed and Wrecker, TD or Deranged if you could only have one?

Had my TD drilled the same as my edge, because I wanted it to replace my chipping and cracking edge.  Was not disappointed.  I love my new TD.  Deranged hooks as much as my TD, but has a different shape.  It is smoother and picks up earlier.  I use it when I have more oil in the heads.

I have a TD, 4.5" Pin, about 2 up thumb out about an inch or two.

If you are looking for something to go long, and have a great back end, the TD is the way to go.  I don't know if I've ever seen a ball slide so easily through the front and middle parts of the lane.

For a ball to fit inbetween the disturbed and wrecker I would go deranged

For a more diverse bag...I'd go TD...
In the bag [Infinite Physix, Volatility Torque, Night Road, Phaze III, Burner Solid, Hustle AU]
*Now Testing* IQ Ruby, Renevant, another IQ Tour solid
Coming soon...???
