It doesn't appear to have any particle in it. The website states that it is Ultimate Vision pearl reactive, no meantion of particle.

I dont know about all of you, but i would rather RotoGrip come out with a more aggressive ball instead of all these Mid-performance balls....dont get me wrong, i love the Neptune and both my Horizons, but something a little stronger would be cool too....i know you all are gonna complain and throw your Two cents in....but somthing to rival the Epic Line...
and not be particle please....

I finally received mine. Mine have more red than blue. The blue is actually a little darker than on the web site. Looks cool going down the lane and really nice looking ball. Cover also looks like it's more hybrid looking...ala Saga even though it's suppose to be a pearl.
I only have a few games on it so these are just initial impressions. VERY, and I mean VERY strong downlane. First few shots surprised me at the change in direction and this is with pin low. Pretty strong overall but does get down the lane. I hit it lightly with grey scotchbrite but I want the cover to break in some before comparing to the Mystic and Horizon Pearl (which is going on 15months old).

I got mine on Wednesday. Just as Anthony stated, it is a shock to see it go so long and have a very fast transition off the dry. Mine has a lot of Red, Blue and a little pink. Very good looking ball. Again I have very few games on it to give a really in-depth review, but I'll come back on Monday after a tourney on Sunday and let you guys know a little more.

My box of Illusions have just arrived this side of the pond
I may be playing a tournament at the weekend, so might drill one up tonight...
I like the look of these balls – I like the lower diff in a not-too-high RG core and am interested in how it matches up with this cover!

I am a fan of the specs. this ball provides (2.54 / .041) and although it is a pearl, I have a reactive and a particle version of similar balls (Icon 300 by Columbia is particle with very close specs, Granite Gargoyle and Violet Gargoyle from Visonary with similar specs). I have both balls layed out with the pin low and probably about 3 1/2 - 4in. from PAP, with the CG swung right at 10:30. It doesn't have a MB indicator, but if you draw a line 6 1/4 in. from Pin through the CG on my Gargoyles and dot it thats the indicator, and its within 1 inch of my VAL.
My PAP is is 4 5/16 over 1/2 up. but I haven't measured the pin distance so thats why I rough estimated. The pin is below my Ring finger.
With that layout on my Gargoyle and Icon, those balls are SO smooth. It has an earlier midlane read than what most higher RG balls do, and a very predictable consistant hard arc backend reaction. The V. Gargoyle is definitely my benchmark ball. And I have even had success with it on some heavier concentrated sport patterns and shots with some moderate carry down. I plan on trying some Roto stuff in the future and this will be one of the balls I try first because of the similarities in the other balls I have, plus I have a gap for a med/drier condition ball. When I get all of this layed out and punched, I will measure on my other 3 too, and post the correct specs (probably in profile). And hopefully I can also get a video together.

I don't know, I find the Mystic to be pretty aggressive.
