Review:
The Magic Gem is the third ball rounding out the Gem series in the HP4 line. This is featuring the same core found in the Gem but features MicroTrax hybrid this time around. With being a two-part pearl one-part solid cover, this feels similar to the original Gem. If the Gem was too early for your game this ball would be a better fit. The cover takes to surface changes well and will be a great option for the fresh conditions. The Magic Gem is going to be great for the higher ball speed crowd or the lower rev rate that needs that extra help from a ball. For higher rev rates the Magic is going to be a good ball for high volumes and long patterns. The Magic Gem is also a strong step up from the Clone.
