Is it the Apocalypse?

What's the best condition for this ball? And where would it fit in a Roto Grip arsenal?

Was wanting to try another Roto Grip ball... and I'm wanting it to be the biggest backending ball Roto Grip makes - so I was thinking that would be the RS-1, but then I noticed the Apocalypse? I don't know much about Roto Grip except for the AWESOME Sonic X Pearl.

Are many of you guys out there having success with the Apocalypse? And how does it compare to the RS-1?

Now you just had to go and name one that is hard to find NIB didn't you?

the Apoc is a nice ball, with a nice fat backend if drilled and prepped appropriately,...however, ...it's not the biggest,...I'd say the RS1 is bigger by a few boards , drilled the same, and on the same condition...

  Your not gonna beat the Apoc, I don't care what anyone says....this ball HOOKS and it HOOKS!!!! you gotta be careful to keep this ball polished though because it is a solid and when it dulls it likes to jump a little early.  ITs a GREAT ball even through carry down, you can't beat it.

Okay, folks. let's get real for a freaking change.

The backend will DEPEND on both the oil pattern and bowler's revs/hand.
TRUE candidates are the Apocalypse, the RS-X and the RS-1.

Just saw an ESPN Classic where Tommy Delutz used an Apocalypse inside and around the 5th arrow and he doesn't have the biggest "hand".

I have or have had the following:

Sonic X pearl
Rush
RS-1
SS Pearl
SS Particle
Retro Blue
Super Sonic

All basically pin above ring finger, and the Retro Blue was hands down the most backend of the lot. All used on medium to medium light.
