I think a little more info may help here. First, which are you considering as being "above" the other in terms of hook between the fire road and beserk? What I'm getting at is, are you looking to fit a ball above the beserk or below and are you looking to replace your fire road or fit an additional ball into you arsenal? Second, I'm kind of surprised to hear you say that a polished pearl doesn't give you very much entry angle. I find the OOB finish on storm stuff to be almost too much entry angle and backend snap for my specs so generally take the polish off. How is it laid out because it may just be an issue of needing it to conserve more energy for the backend to give you that snap. Third, what pattern(s) are you playing and what are your general specs? If these are all for THS and you are looking to add to your arsenal rather than replace the Fire road, that you would want a ball that fills a higher hook need than fitting something between the two.
