The more I think on it, might grab up this Hustle Ink. I love solid color balls and I think it'll give me a similar look to my IQ Tour but on the burn.

I highly doubt it, but if enough people want me to I might.  Thing is that first I don't need that type of reaction, 95% of what I bowl on I use nothing that hooks less than a Hyroad.  If I get down to my Hyroad Pearl it's stupidly bone dry to the point people are using urethane.  Nothing lower end shapes up like the HyPe though.  Second, it's a lot of work and a fair amount of expense making the videos, so usually if it's not something I'm going to throw or something I need, it's really hard to justify, you know?  At this point my channel isn't big enough to sustain doing a review on absolutely everything that comes out, so sometimes I have to be picky.  If my channel growth keeps progressing like it has since the first of the year, then maybe by next year I'll be able to do a review on everything.  Lower end balls typically don't generate the interest or views either.

In the mean time, Tamer might do a review, and if he doesn't, Josh Tajiri will most likely do one.  There will still be some good reviews out there for it I'm sure.  I could also be absolutely wrong, might be a great ball I end up throwing a ton, who knows.  I'll have to see what the boss says lol, she runs the checkbook.

If the Hustle INK is anything like the old Sonic line, it should be a good ball. Plus, dark solid balls always appear more "controllable" (less violent) off the spot than a multicolor ball.

I'm really looking forward to this ball. However, I don't see it being a ball for burn. I see it being a good medium oil ball. Probably a good ball on a fresh house shot. Maybe a good ball on short patterns.

I was out practicing again yesterday, and the Hustle POW is not much of a step down from the NRP. I have it about the same as the Daredevil, but just a different shape. I took the shine off mine with a 4000 pad. I might even go down to 2000 or 3000. This ball just hooks. I expect the Ink to be a little smoother and probably be a good benchmark ball.

I really like my POW. It's just more ball than I thought it would be - despite what I read on here. It's definitely too strong to use on burn. Even at the polished box finish. I even have mine drilled for length. It just doesn't get down there like it should.

Hmm that'll overlap my IQ Tour at that point.

That's why I don't like the Hustles.  By the time you get the cover adjusted to act right, there are other balls at that hook potential that are better.  The Hustle Ink should be right on par with the IQ Tour Solid.  RG is only a few points higher and the differential is actually slightly higher.  I'd be stunned if they aren't incredibly similar.

Sure Lock - Biggest hook and backend
No Rules - Slightly less and slightly smoother, but very clean and readable
No Rules Exist - Virtually identical hook with the NR, but more of an arc, I'd expect it to be similar to the Menace but more consistent at the breakpoint.

So how do we think the NR, NR Exist, and Sure Lock compare to each other?

Fair enough. I get why you don't like them. I don't like mine as a light oil/burn ball, but it is good for what it is. It gives me a different shape to the Daredevil and a couple others. It's more reliable than the Timeless. It's not as over/under as the Hyroad Pearl. It just isn't that weak ball that I need(ed).

I did get my hands on a Hectic though. My friend was selling hers. I was going to buy one online, so I asked her husband what she thought of hers. She loved it, but has too much overlap and needed to clear out some balls. I prefer new equipment, but not opposed to used - certainly not when I needed something to get me down the lane more (for summer league) and not be so jumpy (HP).

I did go with motion hole on it. I had it brought back to box finish. I used it on the fresh house shot last night for the first game and it worked pretty well. Definitely more of what I needed. I may knock the shine off. It did start to react quicker off the spot towards the end of the first game. But nowhere near as jumpy as the hyroad pearl. Definitely longer than the POW.

Now if I can track down a Loco Solid. I have a Match Up Solid coming that I'm going to drill rico. I'm probably going to go with a low flare drilling on the Ink when I get that. Maybe still buy a tropical storm. I had a breeze in 15 and it was definitely good on the burn.
