totally defiant or defiant soul
« on: June 13, 2013, 09:39:07 AM »
I was going to buy a defiant soul to start the season with, but now the totally defiant is being released and the numbers are the same. Is the new better than the old or is the length and backend just a different way of doing te same thing. If you had one would you want both? They also have similar numbers to the iq tour pearl, which I have and like very much.Would one of these be a better compliment or would they be too close to warrant the purchase of either one? Its so hard to decide and buying duds is my unwanted m.o. so any advice will be appreciated it

1.) Only Staffers have the Totally Defiant and they cant throw them in competition (I believe, not sure how that works). So not many could actually give you a comparison.

2.) The Soul is a really good asym solid ball. A lot of Staffers (Amateur and Pro) threw that ball successfully.

3.) None of the Defiants are the same Coverwise. The first 2 offer the Micro-Bite Particle additive, whereas the last 2 offerings do not.

4.) If you feel you need both, Get Both. The Pearl additive in the Totally Defiant will offer a different look than the Soul. Dont go by the numbers, I believe they are all the same since the all share the same core.

I thought the soul is a hybrid?  the totally defiant is supposed to be pure pearl, no microbite isn't it??

Yes the Soul is Hybrid and its a great ball! I have been using it this summer on "PBA league"
Shark pattern and have been averaging 207 for the last 17 games. The shot is changing to the chameleon, right now  I have the surface at 3000 abralon. I'm going to take it back to box and see how it does on chameleon.

I would recommend this ball it's really easy to read and very versatile.

I meant solid as in stable not coverwise.
