Would like some informantion

I would just like to know what you favorite Roto balls are and why. I am thinking of drilling up some Roto stuff.

Epic Battle
It was good OOB.  I thought it was going to be really good.  But, I decided to purchase a Horizon Solid.  In the meantime, I put a light coat of Rough buff on it.  Now it is great.  The rough buff doesn't make it snap harder, it just helps it push and the change of direction remained very similar.

Horizon Solid
Strong, strong resin.  I've got less than 6 games on mine.

Oracle Vision
Great ball, predictable read, good carry.

Saturn -- cheap and ultra-dependable, my "go to" ball if the lanes are getting out of hand or if I need to just bring one ball to league. On the right shot, it can hook as much as some of the hook monsters, and the hitting power is great. You can't ask much more out of a 130 dollar ball.

SD-73 Classic -- STRONG, to say the least.  Flares a ton, really can open up the lane or let me control the dry. Hard, but controlable arc on the backend.

Hope this helps...

Retro Resurrection. You can still find them in some places. Very predictable, and very versatile ball.

I have a Winning Streak, which is analogous to a Silver Streak Pearl (the Winning Streak is an overseas ball). It's a great change-of-direction piece when you need something to attack from an angle.

I also have an Ultimate Streak (overseas Silver Streak Particle) that I haven't thrown yet, but the Streaks and the Retro have virtually identical cores, so I've got a good idea of what to expect.

The only Roto I have that I can't figure out is my Silver Streak SE. I really liked it when I first got it, but it's since become too over/under for my tastes -- mostly over. Basically, I think it's just too strong for a lot of THS patterns.

The Retro is a complete winner, though.

Lets see,  Epic, RS-X, RS-P, Horizon, Saga, etc, etc.  I've drilled almost ever Roto thats come out in the last year and half and have loved every single one of them.  Can't go wrong with that.
