Since the polish has the grit included, theoretically, it doesn't matter what the base sand is.  I'd give it a good cleaning; Roto recommends Reacta Clean on their reactive balls.  I'd probably hit it with a green Scotch Brite pad on a spinner if you need to remove a light track, otherwise, just use the polish after cleaning.  Remember, with the "variable" grit polishes like the ones Storm use, how you apply it determines the final grit.  You must really work the polish in to get the stated (1500 in this case) final grit.  That doesn't mean you have to use a lot, but it does require more spinner time and pressure than what the average person does.
