Pure Fuel v. RS-P
« on: February 02, 2006, 02:05:55 PM »
Can anyone tell me how these two balls compare, especially in length and reaction?  Since both are pearl particles, are they similar?

the PF is actually a pearl particle, while the RS-P is a particle pearl. the difference is the PF has more pearl w/particle, the RS-P is particle, with pearl.

hope this helps

Your assessment is very good until the above.  No, no no no no......  A particle pearl, is a particle pearl is a particle pearl.  That's like calling a ball a particle solid, not a solid particle ?!?  See what I mean....makes ZERO sense.

Balls that are particle pearls, or any particle ANYTHING for that matter are differentiated by their %load of particle,...i.e.; 2%,....3%,....etc..etc...

I'm not sure on the difference in loads between the two balls, but, I agree that the PF will go longer and have a more pronounced breakpoint, where the RSP will start sooner and cover more overall boards.  The RSP would be more medium heavy and "some" heavier oil, where the PF would be more of a medium ball...

NOTE: The above assessment is based upon the same bowler throwing the ball on the same lanes w/ both balls drilled the same and in box condition.
