I am going to Reno at the end of may I've heard that the Horizon Solid, Odyssey, and Mystic. Are scoring well, but was wondering what layouts and surfaces were being used. I am thinking of punching up a mystic and Odyssey to take. Just wondering some opinions.

Layouts and surfaces that are being used successfully will vary with the bowler using the ball.  It's all about matching up.

A slower speed bowler would have success with a polished solid where a bowler with firmer speeds would need to remove the polish to match up in the same manner...

Let me throw out some specs. I have about 350 RPM and speeds about 17 at 15 feet. PAP is 5 1/2 over 1/4 up. Alright those are A game and can gear up or down when needed. I was thinking a Odyssey like 4 1/2 by 4 1/2 pin below fingers and a Mystic like 5 1/2 by 5 with pin above the fingers. I've had much luck with balls and layouts like this in the past. I would leave the Odyssey at box and probably knock the polish off the mystic put it at like 4000. Tell me what you think.
