RS-1 vs SSP
« on: October 15, 2004, 02:13:02 PM »
Would like a comparison of the two balls. Length, backend, reaction in oil/dry, etc. Thanks.

I agree with Greg here........the RS1 will be sooner and probably bigger overall...but not as "snappy" if that makes sense....still big backend.....just not as snappy as the SSP........

Yes Bob....earlier and more backend....it's earlier though... only in the situation where they're both drilled the same !!!! (because we all know there are a ton of other variables...right charlest ?! ) If you were to have a SSp and an RS1 drilled identical in box condition on the same lane thrown by YOU! ......the SSP would be longer in that it doesn't flare as much as the RS1...and it would be more "snappy" because it's retaining more energy....now....because the Rs1 flares more it has bigger backend potential...but..not as snappy as the SSp...its' more of an overall bigger backend and more of a hard-arc shape because it's burning more energy....i.e.; flaring more.....make sense??

I threw mine for the first time last night in game 3 and ....Hoochie mamma!!! See my super duper mini review!
