Ultra Sonic... too good to be true!
« on: June 05, 2005, 05:53:51 PM »
I just can't get enough of this ball!

It goes long and has a smooth but strong backend and great continuation and carry!

It is similar to the Sonic X Pearl but with a few boards more backend and more angularity.

And also, this has to be the pretty-ist ball in the world!

I thought I loved the Sonic X Pearl, but the Ultra Sonic is just awesome!

Right on point!!! Ric!

That's what I tried to say in my review of this ball. Since I've bought this ball, I haven't put it down. I can play it blandly with no-hand, or rev it up and watch it turn into a monster! It is one, great piece! And the prettiest one I own!

I'm just surprised at this ball. My very first game I used it, I shot 289 (7-pin in the 11th)... and have since shot some more big games when nothing else is working.

I've got another post that is similar to this one already in the Roto Grip forum, but I'll say it again... if the RS-1 is a little too strong on the backend, then you can go right to the Ultra Sonic and get the same ball reaction shape, but just slightly less overall hook. A perfect step down in an arsenal!

I hope Roto Grip has no plans anytime soon to discontinue the Ultra Sonic. Which I think I will probably buy a couple more to stash away (like I do with most great balls that I match up with) for when this one wears out.
