I have the total opposite look with my RS-X RotoRPS. It was just a little bit too squirty for my liking with the box finish so I cut it with a grey scotch brite and no it loves the oil. I think the combination of the layout and the dull surface works great for my game. Like all dull balls though, you cannot swing it to the dry too quickly or it will check up. It does tame the reaction a bit, but it still has awesome backend. I might either get another on of these or the new RS-P so that I have all three. Good luck.
