The RST X2 is by far the cleanest asym pearl I have ever thrown. As such, the X2 really bridges the gap nicely between our stronger pearl symmetrical balls and our stronger slower asym pearl balls. For instance, if you have a Halo Pearl or a Parallax Effect that just wont corner hard enough, but your Idol Pearl or Axiom Pearl isn't quite strong enough, the X2 will be perfect. I personally have my X2 at box finish because it rolls well for me, but I have sanded it significantly on higher friction surfaces where we were bowling on longer patterns. The combination of the clean cover and surface allowed me to clear the front on the higher friction surface, but didn't miss the midlane because of the surface of the cover. It's an all around versatile piece that all players should have in their bag.
