Rumble Review

Hello all and as always thanks for reading and you can find the video review that goes with this here :

Tough not to like this new core and cover combo.  Are you a high rev player that needs more control and push throughout the whole lane?  More of a tweener or stroker that is looking for a predictable not too overly reactive motion?  This is without a doubt a great choice.  The new late roll core allows you to drill this ball agressive and it will not burn up too early even with the out of box surface. We drilled this ball with a very basic layout with the hopes of trying the "Motion Hole" and boy did it work great with and without.  The Rumble was predictable throughout the entire lane and maintained this with the "Motion Hole" and other surface changes as well.  Shown it has the Out of Box surface and as you can see it still handles the heavier volumes in the middle of the lane but the late roll core doesn't allow it to blow up or roll out.  The continuation for this ball is maintained no matter what.  I have been able to use this ball on all short and middle patterns and for me has worked best on wood lanes or high friction lane surfaces.

Nice vid. Good info, too! Let's me know that I may want to put either a slightly more agressive drilling, or a flare-increasing X-hole on this piece, just to maintain it's backend pop, as the surface smoothes out from useage.

I haven't added a Motion hole yet but laid my Rumble out to be able to do so.  I may do that soon just to see what it does to the Rumble.

I find the best surface for me for overall use to be an N pad 750 4 sides and an A pad 2500 2 sides.  Allows the Rumble to get down lane with surface and high Rg and roll hard....not flippy.  I find a good clean after bowling with Hook-It removing lane shine and flare lines brings it back to newish surface and intend on refresh with A pad 2500 every other set and then after 7 sets total renewed with 360/750/2500.
