Sonic X Solid vs Sonic X
« on: December 08, 2003, 07:44:39 PM »
Anyone have any knowledge of both balls? Have the Sonic X but it is too much to throw at the 2nd arrow and have gone to the Blue Hit Pearl and though this is working it still is not as strong of hitting ball as the two piece balls. Is the Sonic X Solid tamer than the Sonic X?

the solid is sooner and not as "flippy" even though the original isn't really flippy either.........

I second Jeff,

My Peal X was longer and flippier than the Solid X.  Both balls were vert effective for their intended purposes.

I have both the solid and pearl sonic x.  Both are drilled similar, label with pin abover ring finger.  The pearl is definitely longer and flips much more down the lane.  The solid picks up in the midlane a little more and doesn't make a huge move on the backends.  Overall, both balls are great they give you a little different look depending on what condition you are on.  The solid sonic x may be the ball for you as long as you have enough head oil, it won't turn the corner as hard as your pearl.
