Changing the surface on a Apoc
« on: April 20, 2004, 08:39:59 PM »
Thinking about changing the surface on my Apoc the ball goes to long for me and then makes a very strong move to the pocket.  I have a SSP for that length and I need something that picks up earlier I was wondering how this ball responds to coverstock changes and what changes (different grits of polish, scotch brite pads) work well with this ball.

Thanks

Roger told me that this ball will adapt well to surface changes, like all Roto stuff, and said this ball can handle medium heavy easily if scuffed.

If it's in box now (1500 polished),......I'd scuff it with a grey scotch-brite, say about 800 smooth or so.......

Give it a shot and report back, that should do the trick!
