I still use a Barrage these days and you know I loved the Blue Hot Flame, but surface changes and drilling options can still make the Neptune come as close to the above balls as needs require for the 99.999% case. Remember that RG is still only a small company. Heck, I'm surprised they even made a ball as mild as the Neptune AND as tunable as the Neptune.
In addition, as the days roll by, we see less and less of the really dry lanes that we used to see more often. The oils are generally more viscous these days also.
The last reason and, maybe, the most significant may be that the uber-owners of RG, Storm, may not allow such a move. Bean-counters rule!
