Saturn
« on: January 15, 2007, 11:00:25 AM »
I got a gift certificate for xmas that I haven't used yet. I was thinking about buying a Saturn because its cheap. My proshop guy hates Roto Grip and wants to get rid of it. I need a ball by Thursday and everything else is way too expensive. My Domination cracked last night and all I have is Big Hit. Can someone tell me about the Saturn?

Pretty versatile ball able to handle a wide variety of conditions with the right drilling and surface prep.  In general it rolls pretty even because of its low flare potential.  Tough to beat this ball for the price, it will work very well on most medium conditions.

I've only seen one used...but the guy who has it loves it.  Smooth rolling, easy to control ball...just don't expect a monster hook out of it.  Not sure why your guy hates Roto Grip...I've had lots of success with the 3 Roto Grips that I've owned

The Saturn is one of the most under rated balls on the market! They will handle anything but bone dry or floods! One of the most forgiving balls I've ever thrown.

Great ball.  Tuneable cover. Takes hand adjustments well.  Symmetry at it's best.  Great ball for bowlers that can adjust.

It's either the Saturn, Wizard or Absolute Inferno. I have to make up my mind by tomorrow morning. Will see. Thanks all for the replies.
