Saturn?
« on: February 16, 2006, 11:17:56 PM »
Anyone know anything about this ball?

The guy I was bowling against last night absolutely tossed my salad using this ball.  On a virtually impossible house shot last night (flat oil gutter to gutter, no exaggeration), he was playing 6 arrow, going to about 9 board and ripping the ball back at about 50 feet.

I gotta get me one of these, but where?

The ball is truly amazing don't know about the conditon described. It  is much stronger then you'd expect just looking at the specs. If a high rg low diff. solid is what your arsenal is missing then this is the ball for you, great on medium ths, very versatile with small adjustments and driller friendly. got mine from Buddies Pro Shop or you could try MG Bowling both are on line and have been very helpful, they call if the specs are not exactly what was requested and ask before shipping, make sure to request this service in the comments section at time of ordering.

Yeah guys, sorry about the contradiction of terms.

Every once in a while, the owner of our local center (and a good bowler himself) will have the lane guy put out a much harder shot than usual top hat funnel.  This usually coincides with a close bunching of honor scores.

Last night was a flood in the middle, no recovery on the outside AT ALL no matter how slow and how much you turned it.  Normally, I (low revver, low track stroker, am standing 24 over 12 to 8 and get it back to the 1-3).  It was a brutal shot, and a much flatter pattern than we are used to.  So, as predicted, I had to be 13 boards more right and play straight to the pocket with my XCeption 5.0.  Shot 651, so I am rather pleased.

The guy I was bowling is normally ridiculous and he absolutely ripped this shot apart, shooting 745 with the Saturn.
