problem witch ball weight
« on: October 11, 2011, 03:30:22 AM »
  Hello
I've bought ball root grip dark star but I'm not sure if it is 14lbs ball or 15lbs ball.

The number on ball is 09RDMS28F083G.  Does anybody know how much the ball weights ?

Unless I am mistaken, serial # has no meaning to weight....but you could call Roto's 800# and they may tell by their records.

You can weigh yourself, then weigh yourself with the ball....or just take it to any pro shop who would weigh it for free.

I'm not sure about 'witch balls', but everyone knows that a witch weighs the same as a duck.

But, does that mean that witch balls weigh the same as duck balls?

Seriously though, I really doubt there is any way to tell the weight simply from the serial number, except the chance that roto grip has records of that particular ball.
