The Defiant

The Defiant is finished at 3000 and the Defiant Boom (International release) is finished at 1500 with polished. Both are solids.
If both balls are drilled with the same layout, will there be any different in ball reaction if they are to be bowled in medium-heavy condition ? Thanks !

Really?  So what you are asking is if the same ball is finished either at 3000 Abralon or 1500 polished do they react differently?  Uh, yes.

If you put any solid at 1500 polish it will in general go a bit farther down the lane before reacting and will hook sharper in friction.  Total hook from the polished version would be less on a sport shot; however, since most of us are bowling on a THS the overall change will be length and angle and less of a difference in hook assuming you are throwing the ball inside - out.
