Silver Streak Particle?
« on: August 05, 2003, 03:11:13 AM »
I'm looking for a stronger ball to compliment my Wicked BRT (box condition, drilled 4x4), one that will handle medium to heavy oil better, and allow me to play inside and open up the lanes, and still turn the corner while handling carrydown.  Too much oil or carrydown and my Wicked doesn't always make it back, making me have to play down and in.  I bowl on synthetic lanes, speed about 13.5 to 14.5, with low revs typically.  After reading various reviews, I'm thinking the Silver Streak Particle might do the job, performance and value wise.  Would this ball be a good choice, and how would you drill it?  Any better choices?  What about the Eraser Particle Pearl?

I don't have a particle, I have a solid, and Mark is right, ...I don't like playing inside, but with a Streak, it's actually fun!  My solid is drilled 4x5, gets thru the heads fine, with a nice midlane and strong arc on the back!
