Just received my used RS-P yesterday and could use a bit of advice on the layout and coverstock prep.
My PAP is 4 3/4 and 1/2 up (the rest of my stats are in my profile, as well as the other balls in my lineup). The existing layout is pin directly to the side of the ring finger and the 2 1/2" - 3" directly below. Coverstock appears to be close to OOB.
I currently have an Animal as my med-heavy oiler and I have an AP2 on the way for heavy-flooded patterns ... the RS-P is my first particle pearl and I would like it to fit in behind these two somehow. I also have a SS particle that has a very even, smooth arc to it and isn't too jumpy because of the lower Diff.
I'd like to just change the span to fit me, since it's too wide now, keep the pin location as is, and adjust the coverstock to the appropriate grit level.
Does this sound OK
Or should I fully and redrill for a different reaction and if so, what grit finish and polish combo should I have done
