I think that I finally have this fiqured out except a ball to go below the Rising Star. Any suggestions?

Lineup: Taboo=heavy, Nomad Dagger=medium heavy, Rising Start=medium light, Light-dry=?

Dark Star: Discontinued, but still available in a couple of places, or a Urethane Grenade

Thanks. I've been thinking about urethane, I'm a little concerned about carrying the dreaded seven pin. I'll check into the dark star. Anybody else?

I love my Dark Star for light conditions. My Riot works surprising well on light too @ OOB surface. I'm thinking the core numbers keep it in this range. I also have a Grenade. I use my Lane < light oil pieces more. Look for my thread under Lane < Black Panther to get a look @ my Riot and Grenade for sale. Just click on the Black Panther links

Thanks for all of the replies. I have been looking at video for the Freeze and Tropical Heat, what do you think? Are they to close to the Rising Star and which one would you chose to go underneath it?

The freeze and tropical heat are close to the rising star , i would look into the motiv recon silver which is a favorite or if want urethane try the natural pearl or grenade

Below the Rising Star the Motiv Recon line would work as well as the Tropical Breeze, the Tropical Heat might be to close

The perfect ball below the Rising Star is the Dark Star, they compliment each other very well

Only throw the good stuff, Roto/Global but Motiv is slowly growing on me.

Go with the Dark Star if you can still get one. It will be about 3-5 boards weaker. The Riot could be used (same core as the DS) but being solid, it reads earlier. You might need polish for length if you go that route.

Other good options would be the Grenade or Natural/Natural Pearl (all urethane), or the Tropical Breeze All of these options are specific to dry/light oil conditions.
