I'm a high tracking, lower rev scratch bowler that likes to play down and in. I want to get a sonic for drier conditions and the last games of 4 and 8 game blocks. I've read thru many threads and reviews and still can't decide which is better for my style and needs.
I typically bowl in tourneys with varied versions of THS. So I normally deal with breaking down heads and varying amounts of carrydown. I end up either using a 5x5 nitro r2 pearl or a label polished cuda/c. When moving deeper, the nitro r2 pearl seems to lack the backend due to it's lower rg, and the cuda/c is skittish with carrydown and hooks too early on drying heads.
I've been leaning toward the Boom drilled 5x5, since with my lower revs I worry about backend finish and carry. But on the other hand I don't want it covering more boards then my current dry lane balls, just want more length with a good finish for me. Help!
