Assault Pearl
« on: February 17, 2004, 11:14:49 PM »
I just picked up an Assault Pearl and would like to drill it for length, for conditions on the meduim to light side.  First question is, would it be possible to do with this ball or should I not try it.  Second is if can be done what kind of drill pattern should I look at?  My thought is pin above fingers in a 45 degreee drill or even 60 degree.

I'm not sure that I would look at using this ball on light to light-medium conditions.  Is it possible?  Well, anything is possible, but there are some other options out there in terms of equipment to accomplish what you want without drilling the guts out of the ball.  This is a ball that can make a significant move in the back ends on lighter patterns.

That said, if the ball is 15 and you want to consider giving it up, let me know...because this is one that I was not able to get anymore of even begging and pleading with Roger

I could consider giving it up, but it is used and plugged.  It is in very good shape.
