Title: Spare Tire legal?

I just picked up a Spare Tire off of Ebay, and for some reason am much more accurate with it than my old spare ball.
 It doesnt have a USBC # on it, but a serial that starts with HLRG.
 Is this legal for league and tourney use?

should be... they were produced before usbc so they wouldnt have usbc on them
