fumbled by my mutant cell
« on: July 17, 2010, 08:14:43 PM »
Hi guys, i had a session yesterday at a centre with synthetics. I hand only one ball with me, which was my mutant. took it with me on a whim actually. my go to ball is a Shift.

I dont have much games with the mutant and how it reacted yesterday prompted me to start this.

It reacted kinda weird. It felt as if it wasnt biting the lane at all, just skidded down, hooked a little.

Its a 4 1/2 inch pin to pap. with mb at 45degrees.

Did i experienced a burn out? it was a typical house i suppose and im a lefty so i kinda enjoy the rarely touched left side of the lane.

the oil rings were not thick and prominent. its faint. so i guess its not exactly the ideal lane condition to use mutant on, that i pretty much concluded.

But the questions is, as i dont have much experience, was it a burn out? it didnt hit like a wet sock though, when it hits the pocket, it still cracks. its just the way it moves down lane that bugged me.

my axis rotation was 40-ish. I marked out my PAP on the ball with white tape. it did flare. it just felt like it was traveling on ice. i was throwing it 20-10.

what happened?
