Post by: Storm269 on October 13, 2009, 10:04:54 AM
Storm makes balls that are more skip and flip where else Rotor balls are more of a controlled arc....how true is this sentence...your opinion ?

I would say that Storm makes several balls that have a skip/flip reaction but not all balls in there line do this. The solid Dimension comes to mind. That ball is hardly skid/flip but definitely controlled arc as is the Hy Road. The Furious is early and smooth also.

Roto has some balls in their line that could be defined as skid/snap like the pearl Nomad and the Cell Pearl with a strong drilling. My solid Nomad covers some boards in the backend in box condition.

I think that many people genralize Storm because some of there pearl releases are the best skid/flip balls on the market like the Virtual Energy and the Reign.

BigMike is dead on in my opinion. I personally think you could cover any condition with a Storm/Roto arsenal. Great stuff.
