Roger:
I couldn’t agree more with Admiral50 but I would also add that it’s SMOOTH AND STRONG.
We have about 7 or 8 balls in the area following the latest “5 Points to Better Bowling Seminar†and all are giving similar looks on the lane regardless of layout (12:00, 10:30, 1:30). Because this core is made to arc, drilling to the strength of the ball makes layouts with the CG kicked out read the lane better and make more defined moves on the lane.
As can be expected with the RG and diff. numbers on this ball, you cannot drill a “snap†into it. You only create a sharper, harder roll with longer pin distances (to PAP) or a quick early revving read with shorter pin distances (to PAP). I'm seeing people have success both at box finish and with polish, with the polished covers getting a little better carry percentage as you would expect due to the energy retention achieved.
This is a fantastic match up with core and cover stock that will force people to give Roto Grip a look if they have been hesitant to before, or risk being left behind on the prize list. Although the RG & diff. numbers are similar, this will be the new benchmark standard the Vortex II has enjoyed in the Industry the past 5 years.
Thanks Roger making the best balls on the planet!
