Strike Cell - first impressions
« on: July 07, 2008, 11:05:04 AM »
Finally got a chance to out and throw this piece. Ball is drilled 5 x 4 1/2 pin under bridge. I only bowled 3 games and since this is only the 2nd time out since my foot surgery 4 month ago my mechanics ther first 2 games were crap.Toward the end of the 2nd game I started throwing it well enough to get a rread on the reaction. This ball cleared the heads easy as i expected it to. What was suprising was how hard this ball turned on the back end. All of the equipment I have drilled for myself pin under was always smooth on the back end but this ball jumped dead left. This may have been caused by the fact that it still has about 2 oz top weight still left. I am going to drill the fingers and thumb deeper  tp lower the top and then throw it again thurs. I like what i see so far but it is also too close to my flip leverage Gravity so I was to get a different look. I will update after the changes and throwing it more
