Strike Cell vs Pearl Cell
« on: October 13, 2008, 11:25:53 AM »
I have a Cell and a Strike Cell. I am thinking about buying the Pearl Cell but I am worried it would be to similar to the Strike Cell. Has anyone thrown both of these balls and how do they compare?

The Cell Pearl's Cover is a bit stiffer and all pearl vs. hybrid.

I have a Strike Cell and a Cell pearl with the same layout.  The Cell Pearl is a bit longer and is stronger off of the break point than the Strike Cell.

Both worth having if you can get them.

rotomike, what do you mean by "stiffer"? thunder, how did the strike cell cmpare to the original cell? Knowing that one is solid, one hybrid, one pearl?

Thanks for the question.

Stiffer meaning that it gets down the lane easier.  When the fronts start to hook you can see the change in reaction more in the Strike Cell while it takes more time to see the fronts transition with the Pearl Cell.

Both balls are drilled similar. The strike cell gets more length than the cell and at the break point both balls make a strong but not snappy move to the pocket.
