Thinking about getting one for drier conditions that will compliment my high revs and medium to low ball speed.

That's going to be too much ball. Go with the Sonic Solid. Less diff than the boom and the Sonic X so you'll get your flare later down the lane without the squirtiness of a pearl.

D,
All I can tell you is I bought 1 for dry condition, and used it for 5 weeks, I am averaging 180, here is the scores (4 games set), 770, 924, 831, 869, 937.
Good luck.

I have a sonic x pearl!! I love it for short patterns!
However, being medium revs and softer speed it doesn't give me area!
In other works I get a beautiful strike straight up 9.
Rare is the day that I get to hit 10 and strike(no I usually when pulled into crown leave a bucket).
It will come back from outside but weak.
I was thinking that a ball with slightly higher flare than the Sonic X pearl like the Boom would be great. X = .20 Boom = .29!
I instead lucked in to a Hot Rod(.33) and will try that first.
