Cell Pearl is Fantastic!!
« on: November 19, 2008, 09:28:11 PM »
Several weeks ago, on Friday night, I thought that I would use my Cell Pearl which I had just got.  We were rolling on 1 and 2, which are the hardest pair in the house. I am a 170 Average bowler with timing issues and on many nights I will miss 4 10 pins and then make one.   If the 10 pin was as big as a house, will still would miss it.  Anyway, that night was different, using my newly purchased Cell Pearl, and by the way what a pretty ball it is, I rolled games of 247, 202, 230, for a 679 series. I missed a 4 pin and then I missed the 4 and the 7 in the next frame.  If I had made that I would have had a 700 series.

I would like to thank Mike Sinek who works at Sports Plus/Carmen Don in Alexandria, Va for laying out the ball and Scott Bourland of StrikeHouse Pro Shop in Columbia, MD who drilled the ball. The ball fits like a glove!

What a Ball this is!! The Ball is unbelievable, awesome and marvelous.  What more can I say?  It is a striking ball!

That was some good shooting and I may get one of those there Cell Pearl balls.  I will head up to Columbia from Waldorf to get one of them balls.  I think that this might be a good Waldorf ball!  I have heard some good things about the RotoGrip ball and I will get one. I will have to retire my Blue Hammer, but it has been a good ball for me.

I will stop buy and see Scott Booreland to get one.

Doesn't Mike Sinek with that new haircut remind you of a young John Candy when he has in the classic movie from 1981 called "Stripes?". I remember this line from the movie, "Well, my name's Dewey Oxburger. My friends call me Ox".

Hey Mr. Smooth,

What house do you bowl in? Laurel, Ft.Meade?

I am sorry to say that because of the stock market crash, I will not longer be able to afford to bowl in any leagues.  I did bowl at FT Meade and Waldorf.

I have a pair of lanes in my basement from the closure of the Fare Lanes that was located on Rolling Road.  I will use those lanes to practice on.  But in these times, there is some good news.  Because of the price of oil, I will be able to oil the lanes.  They have not been oiled in sometime.
