what should i drill?
« on: February 17, 2009, 12:20:39 AM »
So iam going to be traveling to the states...maybe to bowl a couple of regionals in the florida area...i am going to just bring my spare ball from buenos aires and i have the inention to buy 2 new balls in there.
I was thinking of something to bowl in the long patterns...i was thinking on a virtual gravity...i have always have succes with storm and roto (mystic,agent,pyro...they all seems to work great with my roll)
But lately ive been having troubles when i have to bowl in shortest pattern...not in the really short sport condidtion of 32 feet oil...i recently won bronze medal in the south american wtba masters in this pattern...but i am having troubles when i am bowling on a typical house shot 38 feet pattern...to be more speciific maybe the easy street from kegel...its unreal but i averaged 220 in the dual condition and i couldnt average 210 in this easy pattern (everybody with no hand killed them)
So which ball can i used that could excel in this kind of patterns???
i have 480 rpm with 17 mph speed but with plenty of foward roll thats why in the shortest patterns my ball seem to roll early and loose energy on the backend.
so which 2 balls and with which kind of drills (my pap is 3 3/8) can u recommend me to bowl in regionals in the us and to bowl on the conditiosn that i mentiones before.
Sory for my english i am from argentina

i dont have a problem with a sport shot 32 feet pattern...when i faced this i moved all the way to the gutter and throw a very old reactive or maybe an urethane ball with foward roll and the ball wont die because the pattern is short but with plenty of oil.
My problem is when i can not play the gutter because its completelly dry so i need to bounce it back ...but in a 38 feet ths i dont have plenty of oil for my kind of roll and my ball seems to loose energy when it hit the pins and i loose the 4-5 boards everybody has in their breakpoint because i cant touch the dry part of the lane
