If anybody got the new bowlers journal, you know what I'm talking about.  Looks like its coming out in february, anybody have a clue on the price???  100-150????

This ball will be released February 15th, 2005 along with a new High Performance Pearlized Particle.  We are using a brand new coverstock on this ball that is going be stronger in the oil.  More information to come later this week.

If you haven't received the information yet on the 2 new balls they will be on our site later this afternoon.  For those of you inquiring about the Spare Tire if you have a side view it is very clear that it is a Tire.  Tread on the surface with painted lug nuts.  Roto Grip written on the rim along with two stars.  We also have a Green Roto Grip Logo on the surface of the ball above the tire.  When drilling this ball you will all be able to drill it over the tread.  This way when you are holding the ball in your stance everyone on the side of you will see the rim.  If thrown straight down the lane it would be like rolling a tire down the road.  

I have been told the ad doesn't do the ball justice in person, which I agree with.  I hope this gives you all a better account of what it looks like.

OMG - that "spare" ball is the coolest thing ever. Wouldn't you know - I JUST bought a new spare ball last week. Drat.

Actually they are on the website now.  

The tire is pretty interesting looking, but I'll stick with my spare storm.

That tire would look just as cool as that soccer ball if you put your PAP on the center of the tire (like if you put the center of your PAP on a black patch of the ball it looked awesome).

So is this a high performance radial, or a doughut? By that I mean a few things.. How much am I paying for it? Can I actually expect it to hit, even marginally better than most plastics? Will this finally replace my Clear Wolf, the only plastic I ever had with a "real" core? I really like the design, it looks great. I am just curious to know if i will get a decent hitting ball that i can use when the lanes are toast.  Anybody got a clue?

You guys should probably email roto and ask if this core is going to be dynamic, if you are interested in using it in that type of position.

It would be cool if it were a dynamic core.  Just an FYI to whoever said it, i want a ball for toast.  there is no resin ball in the world that will do a good job on dry lanes when u rotate it nicely.  I hate the way the clear wolf looks, but man you cant beat the reaction and hit.
