Rogue Cell Polished
« on: November 22, 2010, 01:34:18 PM »
Hey everyone, just wanted to see if anyone has polished their Rogue Cells and the difference in reaction is between that and the OOB 4000 grit. I recently bought a Rogue Cell to go between my Mission and Mutant Cell Pearl. I probably average about 280 revs so I don't put much on the ball, thus the strong equipment. However, it was much stronger than I thought, and actually broke through the nose on the same line I was playing with my Mission. My Mission has the pin above my bridge and the MB about 4 inches from my pap in the strong position with the Rogue's MB in the same position but pin in the ring finger. I polished the Rogue last night using my spinner going 500 grit ab to Storm's Step 2 to get their classic 1500 OOB finish. I'm hoping this will calm the ball down and give me an overall more controllable ball motion than my Mission, but still be stronger and earlier than my MCP. I do expect the backend to increase with the polish, but I've read a ton of reviews that say its one of the more controllable Cells out there, so I'm hoping for the best. Even if this doesn't work out, I'm in love with this ball and will find a use for it in other houses or sport shots with heavier or different oil patterns.
