Title: Tommy D. is leaving Roto Grip?!?!?
Post by: Shoutout33 on May 24, 2005, 12:57:10 AM: Now mind you, I heard this through the bowling grapevine, so I have no idea if it is true or not. But I heard that he might be leaving RG because of some equipment issues or something like that. Has anyone heard any such rumor?

Post by: bowlingmytmouse on May 24, 2005, 09:26:42 AM: I wouldn't put it past him, I know a guy that was on staff that said that he just couldn't compete on the new Brunswick oil with the covers that RG is putting out, he said they just were aggresive enough. I hope he stays though, thats my boy. But I always wondered what he would do with the discontiunuation of the Silver Streaks (Particle and Solid), those were his babies!!! I dunno, we shall see.....

Post by: BowlerKidR on May 24, 2005, 03:56:36 PM: i dont think he is. I was talking to him yesterday and he was praising rottogrip. HE used his RS1 and RSx all the time. I really think it would be stupid for him to leav because we can expect to see great things from rotogrip/

Not going to happen, sorry to say.....HOWEVER.........

Roto "has" been known to 're-release' a special edition ball here and there...remember the SD-73 a couple years ago ?! I hope they do this w/ the SS solid,.....that would be great!!
