September or December...
« on: June 27, 2017, 10:33:15 AM »
September or December I think we'll see an HP3 ball drop. First instinct is hybrid Dare Devil but maybe they skip that and go completely different.
Current Rotation:
PhysiX
Code X
Code Black
Axiom Pearl
Phaze III
Trend
IQ Tour

Hybrid Dare Devil is a good guess.  First two DDs are too good not to add a Hybrid, and since I believe the Hy-Wire is getting discontinued, they're missing an upper performance hybrid.

Not to mention they don't seem interested in an asymmetrical hybrid right now. Probably a 3000 grit hybrid with a stronger cover?
League: Pitch Purple, Destiny Magenta
Testing: MVP
Interests: Black Widow, Proof Solid, Idol Pearl

Probably, but I hope not.  I HATE sanded hybrids.  Covers are so sensitive and they soak up oil much faster than if they're polished for some reason.  Hated the Crux, hated the Lock, hated the Critical, but Hyroad, Code Red, Rocket, Ride, etc, those are all pretty good.  Very few sanded hybrids I've been ok with, the X-Factor Reloaded, Outcry,
 and Wreck-It come to mind . .

I won't be disappointed with a hybrid Daredevil. The Trick has the #1 spot in my bag. Daredevil is not far behind. Have not used the Trick at all in summer league, and the Daredevil only a bit. Trying to use the league as practice and experimenting with other equipment.

I currently have my Daredevil at 4000. If the hybrid is intended to be between the two, I will shine it (original) again, but not a ton. I'll leave the Trick at box and the hybrid at 3000 or 4000. All drilled the same. I can't see needing much else on our house shot in the fall/winter, assuming it plays similar to last year. The Trick was amazing for me during the winter. The Daredevil was #2 or #3 out of the bag.

Even if you polish them?

Sanded hybrids are going to lane shine inside of 5 games anyway, so no reason not to polish them.  Just that if you try to keep surface on them, they're super touchy and high maintenance.
