Review:
The Tour Dynam-X features TourTrax coverstock which provides versatility in coverstock technology. The Rondure Core is being used to add control and smoothness for a ball in the HP3 line. The ball intent is to create a ball motion not readily seen in the SPI line of bowling balls.

In comparison to my Roto Grip UC-3 and TNT the Tour Dynam-X will have much more utility in my arsenal. My UC-3 is a bit strong for a urethane type option and my TNT is a bit specific where it comes into play. The Tour Dynam-X on 40' Don Johnson showed a nice balance of length and control. The TNT in this case was good length wise, but off the spot over and under and the UC-3 had me steeper then I desired.

For me, I really desire an option for sport and league patterns where control is the key, yet I want to move away from urethane do to the earlier chacteristics of these balls during events where a lot of traffic may happen. I feel the Tour Dynam-X might be that option over balls like the UC-3 and TNT for reasons I noted above. The cover comes out at 2K from the factory so I'm debating if 3K might give it just a touch more length out of my bag once urethane is not a good option.

Anything you desire in a ball to create earlier hook and control the Tour Dynam-X is what you are looking for. These type of balls are needed and advantageous in today's bowling environment. They are also tough when looking for the right combination of length and hook strength.

I'm very excited about this particular ball being an asymmetric and initial use has shown the ball has nice predictable continuation in the hook phase. This is not what you generally see in most asym pieces. Be sure to grab a Dynam-X today. It might just be the surprise of the season.

Roto Grip scores another success with the release of the Tour Dynam-X.  With the new, finely tuned version of the Rondure Core called the Rondure Tour Core, combined with the new TourTrax Solid Reactive Coverstock, the Tour Dynam-X is a fantastic new ball found in the Roto Grip HP3 line. So, let's look at what makes the Tour Dynam-X so good.

Roto Grip has taken its proven Rondure Core initially found in the Rubicon series and changed the core values to produce a faster, more stable, revving version. And without a doubt, Roto Grip hit the mark with their intended changes to the new Rondure Tour Core design. Being a straighter player, I liked how the Rondure Tour core revved briskly in the mid-lane and maintained a consistent motion off the pattern without losing the strong continuation we straighter players depend on. I found the Rondure Tour core to be smooth, predictable, and extremely stable. And with that type of consistency, I had plenty of confidence rolling my Tour Dynam-X shot after shot all night in league play.

The TourTrax Solid cover is ideal for straighter and lower-rev players like me. And what I loved most about the TourTrax cover is its ability to blend the lane conditions all night long effortlessly. Whether playing straight up the second arrow or moving my line in and opening my angles, I enjoyed the comfort and stability the TourTrax cover provided, especially late at night when the pattern breaks down. And you can count on the TourTrax solid to keep you in your A game with its ability to smoothly transition its way through those dreaded wet/dry and spotty conditions that tend to take us out of our comfort zone. So, straighter and rev-challenged players like me will enjoy the confidence the TourTrax solid gives your chances of striking all night in league competition.

I am not a staffer just an average bowler, but the numbers on this piece stood out to me. I had to give it a look see. It is the ultimate paradox to me. This ball revs up early like a high performance monster but then pushes down lane rather than reading the mids. But with all this motion going on, it still turns the corner easily and is controllable much like a benchmark ball. The ball is simply amazing to me because it still hits like a high performance piece as well. RG out did themselves with this one. I've been having fun with it on various medium oil conditions and in different houses. I believe this ball would really benefit tournament bowlers mostly, but its definitely a must have ball for sure.

Not impressed with this ball at first. Hit it with 3k sanding pad and love the ball now!
