To begin with your name should be chevyguy, but anyway I just wanted to tell you I just purchased a used Assault Pearl and really like the strong continous arc I get with it. I had it slugged out Friday night and shot 2 games with it and took it to states the next day I was that impressed by it. I used it and my 2 blueberry buzzsaws the whole time. I will almost never see enough oil to warrant buying a stronger ball than these 3. (I do have an Xit and a Super Power) The cover of it is softer (or so it seems) than the cover my blueberries but a whole pile less prone to small scratches)  how would you suggest a resurface job. what grit? piloshed? and can you also send some info on the ball itself.....

Glad the ball worked out good for your.  Now are you asking how you should resurface the Pearl Assault?  If so is it getting tracked out already?  I wouldn't want to do it that soon.  When you do I always use scotch brite...start out with burgandy and make your way up and top it off with storm pro-acta shine.

What kind of information do you want on that ball?  It won't be on our new website, because it is being discontinued this summer.  Let me know what you are looking for.

Thanks,

Oh yeah...about the ChevyGuy...no doubt Chevy makes better vehicles.  I know first hand when I bought my new mustang 2 years ago and had nothing but problems since I got it.  Oh well I sold it and haven't felt the need to change the SN...it has grown on me here.

not going to do anything to it yet, just wanted to know the surface and other specs. I think the website says 2000 polished... how do I get to that with scotchbrite?

You start out with scotch brite and after the grey pad you use polishes.
