Finally got around to putting a few games on both of these. Here's some thoughts.
Mystic: 4 1/2" Pin. Lightly hit with a 4000 pad
http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e56/RevLefty/Roto%20Grip/100_1622.jpgThe Mystic is so smooth, so rolly I threw it on 2 different shots, first a 40' medium medium/heavy house shot with some sloppy backends. I was surprised on well the ball cut through the crap downlane without sacrificing any carry. Easy revs, good length and just smooth off the break. I was able to move about 3 boards left of my SD-73(also pin up and 4000Grit). The Second pattern was a little shorter, with a little cleaner backends. Again the ball was very smooth off the break.
Very impressed with how rolly the Mystic is, even with the pin over drilling. It will come in extremely handy on those strong wet/drys and controlling those flying backends.
On to the Odyssey.

The Epic Odyssey is an interesting ball, clean up front, quick easy revs and the ball still has a lot of angle for such a strong solid with surface. The Odyssey likes the slicker stuff, doesn't mind carrydown I've thrown it on the Shark pattern with some success.

And yeah, I do know it all.. I don't spend 30+ hours a week learning more about bowling for my heatlh... I do it so I know more than all of you.. which I do. (besides the random few that are staffers/work in the bowling business.. which that population is decreasing little by little)
