Venus Question...
« on: September 20, 2006, 08:59:58 AM »
I'm still having trouble trying to figure out how strong this ball is or where to classify it.  Is it like a Hammer Doom? Track Heat Blast?  Bruns Power Groove?  I'm not really familiar with RG equipment so if you guys could compare it to a ball from Brunswick, Hammer, or Track, it would really be helpful.

It's probably similar to the discontinued Power Groove Plum Proactive, but not quite as grippy. (Brunswick's pareticles are very grippy.)

The Venus is actually a special case, given its high-ish RG and low load of particles. I assume it covers medium-light oil to as much as medium oil and the light particle load will help with light carrydown for most people.

It rolls like a Super Trooper, but with a little more mid-lane. The Venus is a very easy ball to control and such a great ball at a low price.
