First part that pertains to Luke. I recently obtained a No Rules Pearl. About to plug and drill so I started reading the reviews on here. Something I noticed once I read Luke's, and then made it to the second page of reviews....
Here's Luke's..
"It hooks continuously throughout the lane, it has a very strong arc, it is a GREAT ball to use from deeper angles on heavier volume patterns once the transition has forced you inside. It rolls heavy enough and has enough traction that you can project it or fade it through the soup in the middle knowing it's going to pull up and make a STRONG move through the pins. It's just a strong ball in all phases of motion, but the surface finish gets it down the lane without bleeding energy. It's quick off friction, but it doesn't burn or stand up. It also doesn't need the shine taken off to compete on sport patterns, in fact it's better with the factory polish on it."
Now I beg everyone to please go read the currently last review for the ball from "Doug Cutler, Storm/Roto Grip Amateur Staffer, PBA Regional Champion"
Second Part, please do comment on this part as well if you can contain yourself after the first part of this post.
I'm undecided on the dual angle layout to go for my No Rules Pearl. I prefer pin up so typically VAL under 50 and Pin distance between 4.25-5.25
I've liked 50x4.25x30 on a Code Black & 65x5x40 on a Marvel Pearl
But, I disliked 60x5.25x30 on a Code Red. So any thoughts on what I should go with based on the general differences between the 4 balls? Currently considering 60x5x40.
