Love my Disturbed and was going to buy the Asylum, but what concerns me is I think I need something with a bit different shape. The Asylum just looks too close....I am throwing the Disturbed at 500/1000/2000/3000 on fresh. Its great but right now I am using a Nomad Solid(4000ab) as the ball down, which is a great ball to go to, but I like to keep it in my closet and only pull out for tourneys(Its my favorite ball ever). So basically I want to put the Nomad back in the closet, what should I look at, something clean with some punch like the Nomad...? I usually put some surface on the ball, never really throw anything polished unless lanes are fried.  Im also drilling a 2013 Shout today I got on ebay for $44 shipped NIB....Im going to put my Blackout away too( 2nd favorite ball of all time) Will take Shout to 4000

Hyroad....had one years ago but drilled long pin(5.5) and pin way up....was very oil sensitive, thinking 4 in pin to pap and 50-60 VAL angle

Reign On.....Looks super strong though

Fusion.....Have to wait to Feb and may not be a clean as I want

Light Out.....this ball with some surface intrigues me...

Any other suggestions.....Im higher tilt and usually struggle with polished peals

I think i am the only person I know who doesn't like the ball. I have it OOB and have a pin up drilling. If Jack can't get it right for me I will let you guys know.

I like that idea.  I sometimes try to force using the ball and it hits like a marshmellow. Sometimes when I get something new I use it when I know better. Miss in ,through the face and if I slightly miss out , I am lucky if ball hits headpin. Will try at 4000 polish and see what happens.  I'm afraid it will overlap my other stuff but I hate not using it.Might try pin down drilling as well. I have pin up now.

4000 Polish is a monster jump from ob. I'd try 4000 first

I typically push the Marvel-S as a step up for when the  customers want similar shape but more continuation than a Disturbed. When the  Disturbed pukes, the Marvel-S has really close shape, just  more responsive.

The Asylum is pretty close to the Disturbed, just has more of an angular move off the point. I don't quite feel the Asylum handles oil as well as the Disturbed, whereas the Marvel-S handles oil arguably as well or better than the Disturbed while still making a more pronounced direction change (than Disturbed).

Wow. Must really be bowling on dirt. My charges back if I miss out and if I miss in it holds pretty well. But I'm bowling on newer synthetics with 41ft med oil. Ob was too strong. I'm picking up an asylum today to compliment it
