I have a Sinister. As the cover began to get older, it wanted to just become a skid/snap ball for me...and that's with a lot of surface maintenance using my ball spinner.
I redrilled it from pin up to pin down, and the ball is a
lot better now. Much less skid/snap reaction...it rolls earlier and definitely hits the pins VERY well. It also corners nicely from steeper angles.
The way I see it, this ball is not a true 50/50 split between pearl/solid cover...it seems to react more like a pearl than a true hybrid. This core in a true solid coverstock will be a LOT of fun to throw
