Aftermath vs. Solaris Requiem
« on: April 27, 2010, 01:10:49 PM »
Anybody thrown both enough to make a comparison? I have a Requiem, but am strangely drawn to brightly colored bowling balls. How do the two stack up against one another?

I have not thrown either yet (aftermath is on its way) but I think the answer is simple, the aftermath is a late hard arc/snap ball while the requiem is your prototypical heavy oiler where it will start much earlier than the aftermath... however I have heard that overall hook is similar on both balls, the difference is the aftermath does it in the backend.

I've thrown both and the Requiem is alot earlier than the Aftermath, almost same hook potential, but Aftermath has good length and hard turn on the backend.

AfterMath is Longer and stronger, can stil handle a good amount of oil though.

Requime is earlier heavier rolling, some what angular but not near as much as the AfterMath.
