Here's some more footage of the Solaris Platinum in action.
This time it's with different bowlers with different styles.

Enjoy

WOW! I LOVE this video!

Why? Because it doesn't show a strike on every attempt, and as I see the ringing ten, or the 9 pin that's left, I am automatically thinking of what adjustment I'd make, and whoopee, next vid frame... there's the adjustment along with that unique look and hit that these balls seem to have. Good, good stuff man. The hair on the back of my neck stood up, so that is a very good sign. I can't wait to get one of these!! Thanks!

Thanks Gunny for the new vid.

Anybody throw a pin down layout on their Platinum yet?  I have a layout on my Epicenter (can't remember the dual angles off hand) that I'm absolutely killing with...does have a P3 or P3.5 hole in it...but it is destroying my league shot.  I love the layout so much that I'm tempted to throw it on the Pt...I know the Epi is asym vs the sym Pt...just wondering how close of a look I would get.  That said, of all my many Blackouts that I have had, my pin up or pin next to ring finger layouts roll much better than the pin down one I did have before she cracked.  Same with my Euphoria....had an original pin down layout (below center of bridge) on the Euphoria and didn't like it as much as I do my now 5.5" pin to PAP layout I have on her now.  Wondering if that is the case with the Trailblazer core and it's symmetrical nature....

Here's how mine is laid out and it reads the end of the pattern real well and will recover from anywhere and hold if I tug it a little. It has as much or more backend than my Long Horn. I love pin down drillings but I agree the Blackout drilled pin down made a ball that already reads early read too early, I added surface to my pin down Blackout and it could handle a ton of oil.

Matt, that's funny...check out my pic of my Epicenter:

Ball recovers from anywhere and like you said, a little tug it still holds....crazy how that is pretty darn close to my layout.  I don't have that particular layout on anything else in my Seismic arsenal (was thinking about putting it on my Requiem when I drill it)....but I should be getting a new Pt and Longhorn soon and may just opt to put that layout on both of those.  I get the most recovery from any ball in my arsenal with that Epicenter...and crazy thing is...I'm using mines right now at 1000 abr no polish and it's still bananas on the backend.  Thanks for the pic and I think that I'm going that same route on my equipment when I get it....
When are we going to see some practice video of you equipment too?

I just took my other AMP to the pro shop today to get drilled up the same way, I'm excited to see how it will roll. When you get that weight hole down low it really seems to help the ball read the pattern and recover so I'm real curious about the AMP as it's midlane is awesome already now add more back end to it.....hmmm. I have another Long Horn sitting in the wings waiting to be drilled, maybe I'll let you be the guinea pig for that layout on the Horn. My feeling is that it will be crazy strong on the backend and let you play some extreme angles. I do definitely want to shoot some video of myself as MeNo said he would analyze it and help me out. By the way I think the Requiem would be almost unusable with that layout as it already flares a ton, if I had a weight hole down low to increase flare it would literally flare 3/4 of the way around the ball as it already does a good 2/3 with the pin down cg out about 45 degrees and a hole on my PAP.

AMP with that layout was what I had intended on doing before deciding to sell it.  Had a NIB but opted to just keep my 800 ball AMP retired and use the new stuff. When you get that video...you'll be able to show off the AMP and that layout...I will probably do that same with the Longhorn as you said.  I just want to keep seeing the Platinum videos pop up...from what I've been hearing, people are just loving it right now.

Will probably not do that pin down on the Requiem as you said...I forgot that I emailed Ryan months ago about layouts on that ball when I got her...and he did suggest a longer pin to PAP to keep it from reading too early.
